West Vancouver Foundation has opened their small grants program for its second year.

Neighbourhood Small Grants of up to $500 are available to people who have an idea to bring their neighbours together. In addition to West Vancouver, the program is being offered to an additional 25 other communities throughout B.C. through the West Vancouver Foundation in partnership with the Vancouver Foundation.

The West Vancouver Community Foundation, founded in 1979, is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. The organization is a non-government, non-profit community foundation. They help individuals, corporations and non-profit organizations to make donations to the community.

Grants  are available for a project that is geared towards bringing neighbours together, celebrate diversity or increase people’s sense of belonging. Projects are required to be free to attend and participate in and they should be accessible and inclusive of all people.

Deadline for applications are April 9.
